Sub: Inviting participation in “Buyer Seller Meets (B2B Meetings)” in Poland & Portugal from 13 to 18 June 2019 Dear Member, With an objective of increasing export of cotton textiles (Yarn, Fabrics & Made-ups) to European Countries, it is proposed to organize B2B meetings in Poland & Portugal from 13th to 18th June, 2019 under MAI scheme of the Govt. of India. This is a standalone event being organized by TEXPROCIL with the support of Indian Embassies Poland (Warsaw) & Portugal (Lisbon). Program 12-June-2019 : Arrival at Warsaw, Poland 13-June-2019 : B2B Meeting at Lodz (one hour drive from Warsaw). 14-June-2019 : Follow-up meetings based on B2B interactions. 15 / 16 -June-2019: Travel to Portugal, arrive at Porto. 17-June-2019 : B2B meetings at Vila Nova de Famalicao (30 minutes drive from Porto) 18-June-2019 : Follow-up meeting based on B2B interactions. 19-June-2019 : Departure for India. Participation fee Fee per participating Company is Rs.1,20,000/- (Rs One Lakh twenty thousand only for both the countries), excluding: Airfare, local transport, Hotel stay and other travel related expenses. Participation fee is heavily subsidized, taking into account MAI support from the Government of India. Import of Textile & Clothing POLAND -

Confirmation to Participate It has been decided to restrict the number of participants to 25 Companies only owing to space constraint. We invite participation of exporters of Home Textiles, Fabrics & Yarn to participate in this comprehensive and exclusive B2B meeting. As the publicity will kick start by the 3rd week of April 2019, to get maximum advantage of the pre – event publicity, Members interested to participate are requested to kindly fill up the Application Form (click here) and send back to us along with participation fee, latest by 20th April, 2019 as we need to send the final list of participants latest by 22nd April 2019 to the Indian Embassies in Poland and Portugal. Eligibility for financial assistance under Market Access Initiative (MAI) scheme : As per Notification no. 11/197/2016-E&MDA dated 16.02.2018 of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Department of Commerce (E&MDA) Division reg. eligibility for availing MAI grant with following conditions: “a maximum of three participations in a particular trade fair/ exhibition / BSM would only be eligible for MAI assistance, i.e. members who have availed assistance three times (including past cases) for a particular fair / exhibition / BSM thereafter have to participate in that fair on their own. Further, MAI funding support shall only be provided to a member for a maximum of two MAI events in a year.” Reimbursement of airfare: - In order to encourage participation on MSME, the Council has sent proposal to Dept. of Commerce for sanction of grant on account of reimbursement of airfare (economy class). if it is approved by Ministry of Commerce, Partner/Director/Proprietor of participating firm/co whose export turnover in the last financial year is less than Rs 30 crore shall be eligible for reimbursement of airfare subject to fulfilment of criteria as per guidelines under Market Access Initiative Scheme 2018 issued by the Ministry of Commerce and amended from time to time.
