Prayer Letter
August 2019

It's been a busy August, and it's not even half over! We're praising the Lord for His faithfulness, and for the meetings we have had.

Family Update
Little Tyler is trying hard to keep up with all his siblings. He's cruising on furniture and walking with push toys across the room. It won't be long before he lets go and takes off on his own.

Our homeschool routines are resuming this month.  We're tackling English and math in August before diving into everything after Labor Day.

It's hard to believe that Jayme has begun her senior year of high school.  She is earnestly seeking the Lord's direction for after high school.

Missionary Acres Updates

Evangel Baptist Church, the onsite church at Missionary Acres, had their annual youth camps and VBS in late July. They brought 14 teens to teen camp down in Arkansas. These dear saints definitely have a heart for the youth!

Ministry Update

We praise the Lord for the opportunity to share our burden for the respected heroes of the faith in two different Washington churches this month.

On August 4, we visited two churches in Pasco, to try to make some connections. The pastor in the church we visited in the evening, Pastor Paisley at Riverview Baptist Church, graciously allowed Bryan to speak for ten minutes during their evening classes. It was such an unexpected blessing, and an encouragement. We truly are amazed at how the Lord works.

This past Sunday, we spent three services with the dear folks at Lincoln Park Baptist Church in Wenatchee. We are so thankful for Pastor Ernsberger and his congregation for their hospitality while we were there.

We have another presentation scheduled for this coming Sunday at Christ Fellowship Baptist Church, which we are thankful for.

Please continue to pray that we would connect with more pastors and be able to schedule additional meetings.

Thank you for your prayers!

Bryan & Lisa Tanner & Family

  • A successful teen camp at Camp Hosanna in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas. There were about 30 teens present, and the on-site church at Missionary Acres brought 14 of them.  Praise the Lord, at least four decisions were made to trust Christ as Savior!
  • The opportunity to present Missionary Acres in two different churches this month (so far.)
  • The Lord providing for our needs - financially, health, everything. It is amazing to see Him at work in our lives.

Prayer Requests
  • To connect with Pastors and fill our schedule for 2019 and 2020
  • For logistics of travel and safety on the road
  • A dependable and affordable 15 passenger van
  • For health for our family, especially Owen. We are waiting on insurance approval for a seizure medication, as he has developed a new type of seizure.
  • Wisdom in when to move to a full-time deputation ministry- our target date is currently the end of 2019, but we know the Lord has it all figured out.
