Preparation and progress were the theme of January. Though we weren't in churches this past month, we accomplished many "behind the scenes" tasks.
We wrote and designed two new brochures for our portfolio. One shares the story of Missionary Acres and answers many common questions, such as "Why Is There a Need for Missionary Acres?" and "What Does the Bible Say" about caring for missionaries and pastors.
The second is a more personal glimpse at our call to the Acres, and what we will be doing there.
If you'd like a digital copy of either (or both), please hit reply to this email and we can get them sent to you.
These brochures, along with some other material, are currently being professionally printed. Once they arrive, we will be creating physical portfolios to send to some pastors.
The plan is to start locally, and then branch out from there. We would greatly appreciate your prayers as we connect with pastors that we'd be able to schedule some meetings.
In addition to our portfolio, we worked hard preparing for our missionary display table. Praise the Lord, we now have everything we need to quickly set up a display that answers key questions about our ministry.
We are so thankful for the progress made this month, and are looking forward to presenting our ministry in churches.
If you follow us on Facebook, you may have seen that our son Owen needed surgery to remove a foreign object from his throat. We are thankful to report that the surgery went well. He is recovering and working on regaining some of the weight he lost.
Thank you for your prayers!
